Grace Ormonde 1960-2025

I just received some very sad news. With a heavy heart, I share the passing of a true icon in the wedding industry, Grace Ormonde.

Grace began her wedding expo journey in 1986 at the Providence Civic Center, later moving the event to the historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI, where it thrived for 12 years.

In 1998, she launched Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine—first as a local New England resource, then expanding nationally by 2002, and ultimately achieving international recognition. The magazine continues to inspire couples and professionals around the world to this day.

I had the privilege of knowing Grace for many years. She will be deeply missed, but her vision, passion, and contributions to the wedding industry will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
